Project Goal

This project exists to make joystick setup in Star Citizen less of a headache.

Star Citizen is a broken alpha, and joystick manufacturers make niche hardware that is not always designed specifically for space sims. That combination can be frustrating, but it does not have to be.

What These Bindings Are For

  • Get people started quickly with a solid baseline
  • Reduce setup friction across vJoy, HIDHide, Joystick Gremlin, and Star Citizen XML imports
  • Provide a practical default layout most users can tweak to personal preference
  • Keep profiles updated regularly for each patch cycle for users who want most of the work done for them

What to Expect

  • Most users will make small tweaks (axis inversion, preference bindings, and layout adjustments)
  • Some profiles are in active transition during patch windows
  • Stable release packages are available at subliminal.gg/bindings
